This assignment was part of the UI Design Fundamentals module and built directly on the research, personas, sitemap, and wireframes developed in the UX Design course. The brief was to transform low-fidelity wireframes into a high-fidelity, interactive prototype in Figma, conduct user testing within the same group, and then implement the homepage using a website builder. Continuing with the redesign of Pacific Northwest X-Ray, my focus shifted from structure and functionality to visual hierarchy, consistency, accessibility, and interaction design. I developed a complete UI system including typography, colour palette, spacing, and reusable components, and used these to create a realistic, clickable prototype that simulated real navigation and user flows. Feedback from group testing informed refinements such as simplifying navigation, improving image quality, standardising buttons, and reducing visual noise. The final step was rebuilding the homepage in Webflow, where I translated the design into a responsive layout using modern layout principles. The outcome demonstrates how UX research, UI design, prototyping, testing, and basic front-end implementation work together to create a clear, professional, and user-focused digital interface.
